This week Nursery has been looking after 9 chicks. We watched them hatch from eggs in an incubator. Then we moved them to a big chick run, cleaned them, fed them and gave them water. The children learnt all about the life cycle of a chicken, how to care for animals and hold them carefully. They have now returned to live on a farm in Norfolk with the Happy Chick Company.
