School Fund

At Burlington Infant & Nursery school we aim to provide pupils with a full and enriched education by offering activities which often fall outside of the national curriculum.

These activities include workshops and events such as Earthsong drumming, Don Rae Dance, The Space Dome, “Pretend Holiday” days, art workshops and Healthy Living Week Big Breakfasts. Last year we also used the voluntary contributions to part fund 6 new interactive Smart Boards in Years 1 and 2.

In light of the above, we ask parents/carers to make a small voluntary contribution towards the School Fund in order to help to enrich the quality of our pupils’ education during their time at the school.

This year at Burlington Infant & Nursery School we are suggesting a voluntary donation of £40 per family, although you are welcome to give more, of course. Even if you are unable to give the recommended amount, we would value any voluntary donation which you can afford.

These contributions allow us to maintain a high and varied standard of education, however, we would like to make it clear that this contribution is entirely voluntary and we are grateful for any support that you can give.

The way in which the funds are spent will be decided upon based on requests from teaching staff and children.

Please make your donation using the schools online payment system – School Gateway. You can make a one-off payment of £40 or there is also an option to pay on a reducing balance with smaller instalments through the year. You can find the link to School Gateway below.

Thank you for your support in enabling the school to provide valuable resources and experiences to enhance the lives of pupils at Burlington Infant & Nursery School.
