Applying for a place in Reception

Burlington Infant and Nursery School is in the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames. Each year the borough publishes its school admission criteria and application form in a booklet. This is available from the school office, local libraries and online on the borough's website.

Please click below to download it.

How places have been offered in the last 3 years

We recommend that families read the admission criteria before applying. The deadline for applications is in the January of the year your child is due to start reception. The exact date varies from year to year and is published in the booklet and online.

If you live outside the borough, you can name this school on your own local authority's application form. Please contact your home local authority to obtain a form. In this case, you do not need to apply directly to the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

Transfer to Junior School

Transfer to Junior School follows a similar process and is covered in the booklet described above. Again, applications are processed through your home local authority. If you live in The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames, click below for more details.
