Book Week 2022

Book Week 2022

Thank you for all your efforts and enthusiasm for book week. The children have really enjoyed the mystery book which the whole school and even the Juniors based our learning on all week. The book was 'Albert Talbot. Master of Disguise'. We would highly recommend buying a copy for birthday or Christmas presents or borrowing it from the library!

Thank you very much for your generous donations to the sponsored book bingo. All the money helps us buy new books for book corners and the library. If you haven't sent in the form and money please do so by Monday 28th February by cash via your class teacher or on School Gateway. We have had some hilarious entries for the Extreme Reading competition. Please send in all further entries by Monday 28th February via the office email, on Tapestry or a print out to your class teacher. Prizes will be awarded next week! All entries will be displayed and put on the website, so please let us know if you would rather not have your child's photo posted on the website. It was great to see the children dress up as their favourite book character or as an explorer. It was very hard to judge, but two winners from each class received a book as a prize. Finally we hope your children enjoyed the bedtime story and the book fair! Don't forget to spend your book tokens!
