We are holding a ‘Sponsored Spell’ event at school on the week beginning 12th May. We aim for all children to develop a love of reading and writing and we believe feeling confident in spelling will help us to achieve this.

We have included a few ideas of how you can practise these spelling words at home.

If possible, please ask family and friends to sponsor your child for taking part. All sponsorship money will be greatly appreciated and will be used to purchase new resources for teaching reading and writing. Sponsor money can be in cash or paid online via your School Gateway account. 

Please write which list you have been learning on your sponsor form. Please bring sponsorship money into school by Friday 16th May.

Certificates/stickers will be awarded for effort and participation!
