Week of February 23-27th 
(first week back after the half term break)

Monday 23rd February 

Bedtime story: Please bring your pyjamas to change into. Nursery can be in pjs for their whole session. 

Scholastic book fair in the small hall - 3.20-3.45pm - USE YOUR TOKEN!

Tuesday 24th February 

Buddy reading with a class in the junior school. 

Wednesday 25th February 

Scholastic book fair in the Great Hall - 3.20-3.45pm - USE YOUR TOKEN!

Friday 27th February 

Dress Up Day! Please come dressed as your favourite word!

Reading Morning - Please come and read with your child in class 8.50-9.15am (Nursery 8.30-9am or 12.30-1pm).

Sponsored Reading Race Competition

Please ask family and friends to sponsor your child for taking part. No amount is too small! Sponsorship money can either be brought into school by Friday 27th February or paid online via School Gateway. 

How many books can your child read in the half term break and Book Week? Write the name of the book and author on strips of paper and bring them into school in Book Week. They will be pegged to a 'washing line' in the classroom. The class with the longest line and the most entries in each year group by Friday afternoon will win a prize. 

Family Selfie Reading Competition 

Please send in a selfie of your family reading. It can be at home or why not make it a special event and read somewhere unexpected or all dress up! Please send in your pictures on Tapestry to be shared with the class.
