In Parent Consultations next week you will be given a unique login, password and parent user guide to access the ebooks that accompany the Little Wandle Reading Practice books your child is reading in school. Your child’s teacher will let you know which day every week they will allocate a book online. Your child will be allocated one book at a time and it will be the book they have read in their Reading Practice sessions in school that week. It is very important to read this book, even though they have read it before as it is a great opportunity for them to celebrate and share their progress and reading skills with you. Your teacher will check you have read the book, deallocate it and then allocate the new one the following week. Your child will still be given physical books to read every week including a decodable reading book, a reading for pleasure book and a Library or class book.

For children in Year 2 who are reading books beyond phase 5 your teacher will discuss what options are available with you at Parent Consultations.
