The children have been learning that everyone’s voice matters and that everyone has the right to be treated fairly. This includes having a say in things they like and don’t like – even when it comes to school lunches!

This week, School Council gathered the views of their classmates, finding out which school lunch meals were popular and which ones were less liked. They then shared this feedback with Nourish, our school caterers.

The School Council also had the exciting job of tasting some new food items from the upcoming menu. After trying them, they voted for their favourites – broccoli tots and cheese and carrot swirls were the winners! Look out for these tasty additions on the new menu soon!

To thank them for their hard work and thoughtful feedback, Nourish gave each School Council member a small gift.
