Dear Parents

From all the Nursery team we would like to say a very big thank you for all your support over the year. Although it has been a tricky year in many ways we have been amazed by the resilience shown by your children and we are grateful to you for all your patience and understanding. The home learning you did with the children was fantastic and we have loved all your responses on Tapestry over the year. Tapestry has now closed and you will be receiving a letter today about how to download your journal.

The children who are staying at Burlington have been meeting their new teachers over the last week and come back very excited about starting in Reception in September. We wish the children who are going to new schools all the very best and would like to thank them for helping us meet the new Nursery children last week. 

To celebrate the end of the year we are going to have a Teddy Bears Picnic on Thursday 22nd July. We would love it if all the children could bring in a teddy bear or soft toy. We will provide the picnic food. We will have the picnic on the grass next to the Nursery.

We hope you found your child’s school report informative and helpful. Please don’t forget to send your feedback on the Google Form that was emailed to you. 

Finally, we would like to wish you and your families a safe and happy summer break! The best things to do in preparation for Reception are rest, have fun, talk and read a lot! It has been wonderful having your children in Nursery and we wish you all the very best.
