Each half term the KS1 children will be learning about a scientist. Last half term they learnt about Milly Hennayake and this half term they will learn about Dr Sheila Kanani MBE who is an astronomer and the Education, Outreach and Diversity Officer at the Royal Astronomical Society. She is also an author and has written books including 'How To Be An Astronaut and Other Space Jobs' and ‘Can you get Jellyfish in Space?’ Dr Sheila Kanani will be visiting our school on Thursday 30th January!
This half term we would like the children to use their creative skills to make the Solar System. They can also record questions they have for Dr Sheila Kanani.
Paper copies of the homework will be sent home with the children or you can click here to view it. This homework is optional but do encourage your child to take part!
