Normally around this time we would be starting the children’s transition to the Junior School and the schools are working together to create ways in which to do this.  Mr Blow, Deputy Headteacher at the Junior School, is planning a few videos to introduce himself and the school to the children which we will post on our virtual classrooms.  We are also thinking about the best way to have a ‘Y2 Graduation’ and will be in touch with details once we finalise them. For now we are hoping that you could send us in a photo of your child’s head and shoulders holding a picture they have drawn or something that has been special/helpful to them during lockdown (like the pictures in the school staff video).  Some ideas for the picture - rainbow, the year, their class planet.  The object might be a favourite toy, ipad (to represent home learning!), a stone with the year painted on it.   Please send the photo to your class teacher through google classroom by Friday 19th June.
