The school joined the Cool Milk scheme in line with the Government and Local Authority healthy food initiatives in 2008. Since then, the majority of children have been enjoying milk each day.

Each child receives a 189ml portion of semi-skimmed milk every day, delivered fresh and chilled to the classroom.  Their school milk will not only provide them with essential nutrients, but is rehydrating and energy boosting, helping children stay focused. Children under 5 years of age receive free milk under a European Milk Subsidy. If you wish for your child to continue receiving milk when they have turned 5 years of age, you should contact Cool Milk directly. 

With the Cool Milk scheme, you pay a small amount each week for your child to continue receiving milk at school. School milk is free for children under 5 and for children over 5 who are eligible for the Pupil Premium Ggrant.
